FortheGirls is a nonprofit organization that aims to support women, particularly mothers, who face a lack of support when carrying and caring for their children. Our mission is to provide a space where women can connect, empower each other, and share their experiences, thus creating a supportive community. We work to advocate for and support these mothers in order to uplift and inspire all women in our community.

Abortion rights have many different factors involved, such as pro life vs pro choice, safe vs unsafe abortions, etc. All of these contribute to socioeconomic disparities within maternal health.

The limited access and education about contraceptives has created many issues and disparities within maternal health.The limited access to contreceptives in less affluent places in the world increased the rate of unsafe abortions and unwanted pregnancy. This degrades the countries maternal health. Also, limited education about contraceptives causes STI rates to increase since contraceptive use is inhibited. This can cause STIs to pass to babies which effects the entire population, not just woman.

this issue is very important, and needs to be talked about more💗mothers are dying due to the lack of awarness.

our goal is to create advocacy for all of the subtopics within maternal health. the first step to a change is becoming aware of the problem, and not many people are aware of all of the issues revolving maternal health. we want to change that!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the forthegirls instagram! We are an advocacy page for socioeconomic disparities within maternal health. We will talk about the different subtopics that makeup maternal health in order to spread awarness about them. We want to help our viewers become more informed about the serverity of the many topics that contribute to the socioeconomic disparities within maternal health. We will also be posting ways that you can help within our community such as volunteer jobs within organizations, petitions, etc. Thank you!
