Vaani Gupta
Founder & Co-President
Hi! My name is Vaani Gupta, and I am the founder and co-president of FortheGirls. I am a junior at Carnegie Vanguard High School. I enjoy dancing, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends and family. Ever since I was young, I have always been passionate about helping others in my community in various ways, whether it be volunteering at the Houston Food Bank, summer camps, or animal shelters. Recently, I discovered my interest in maternal health and helping women who need it the most, particularly after giving birth. This is why I decided to become a co-founder of this nonprofit organization, For The Girls, to give support to the women in our community in whatever way they need!

Lillian Logue
Co-founder & Co-president
My name is Lillian Logue and I am the co-founder of FortheGirls. I am a junior at Carnegie Vanguard High School. I am a competitive dancer and retired gymnast. I love to hang out with my friends, go shopping, and spend time outdoors. I am a Girl Scout and a Boy Scout. Through both organizations, I have learned the importance of helping others. My interest in maternal health sprouted through our AP Seminar project. The research I did for this project made me realize all the hardships mothers around the world face. I'm so glad to be a co-founder of FortheGirls and I hope to make a genuine impact towards women.

Alicia Perez
Secretary
Hi! My name is Alicia Perez and I am the secretary of FortheGirls. I am a junior at Carnegie Vanguard High School. A couple of my hobbies that I enjoy include reading, hiking, volunteering, and swimming. I have also been a Girl Scout for the last 11 years. Through Girl Scouts I became part of a strong community of such strong and independent women whom I look up to. From a very early age I was very passionate about helping the people around me. I hope that through FortheGirls I will become one more voice to speak out on this issue, and I hope to become an advocate for the many women who struggle everyday.

Mala Gupta
Accountant Signatory
Mala Gupta, a passionate mother of two is the president of FortheGirls. As a mother who has faced the hardships of motherhood, she hopes to drive FortheGirls to be a supportive organization to the mothers in our community, as well as the world. As the accountant signatory, she manages the funds for the nonprofit as well as works as an overseer for FortheGirls.
